当たり！　精密ドライバーだ！　でも、手が届かないわ・・・。

 

■precision (a) used to describe machines, tools, etc. that are made to a very accurate and exact standard（形）精度の高い

 

マックス：Yes! You have mad skills, Max. I’ve got the tools, I should go back upstairs before Chloe freaks.

よし！　いい腕してるじゃない、マックス。工具も手に入れたし、クロエが薬でらりっちゃう前に二階に戻ろう。

 

■freak (v) to become or cause someone to become extremely emotional（動）〔異常に〕興奮する、動揺する、〈俗〉〔薬で〕恐ろしい幻覚を見る、異常な行動をする

 

マックス：I can’t fix this thing.

これ修理できないわ。

クロエ：Are these your new photos?

マックス：Yeah… I just took them today.

■I don’t blame you. (phrase) used to indicate that one agrees that the action or attitude taken was reasonable.（フレーズ）仕方ないよ、無理もないよ、気持ち分かるよ

 

マックス：Like you said, it’s been that kind of day.

クロエが言った通り、今日はいろいろある日だよね。

 

＊「that kind of day」は「そういう日もあるよね」と、ツイてない時によく使います。

 

クロエ：So you must have overheard our conversation…

じゃあ、あたしたちの会話も聞いたんだ。

クロエ：Now for the big question: did you tell anybody?

じゃあ重要な質問。このこと誰かに言った？

 

マックス：No. I didn’t know what to do…

ううん。どうすればいいか分からなかったから・・・

 

クロエ：I don’t blame you… That’s some intense shit.

クロエ：The principal? Are you still twelve? That drunk jackass only cares about cash for Blackwell Academy… Don’t trust him.
