英語スクリプト・日本語訳 (p40 七番街へ)

ティファ：この場所、知ってる。七番街はこの水路の向こう側のはず。

I know this place. Sector 7 should be just on the other side of this waterway.

クラウド：じゃあ、六番街はここで終わりなんだな。

So this is where Sector 6 ends.

 

ティファ：そしてここからは七番街になる。ここを越えれば、地上に戻る道を探し始められるよ。

And where Sector 7 begins. Once we cross over we can start looking for a way back to the surface.

ティファ：ああ、もうっ。コルネオが言ったことを考えずにはいられないよ。

ティファ：悪ふざけに違いないよ。彼らがそこまでするなんてありえない。でも・・・でもコルネオが本当に真実を話していたとしたら・・・？　私たちは阻止できるように間に合わなくちゃ。絶対に。

It’s gotta be a trick. There’s no way they’d go that far. But… But what if Corneo really was telling the truth…? We have to get there in time to stop it. We have to.

ティファ：行くよ！　先に行くね。

エアリス：行くよ！

ティファ：もう少し！

クラウド：跳べ！

ティファ：危なかった。

エアリス：ありがと、助けてくれて。

ティファ：うん。

Yeah.

 

エアリス：未来は・・・変えられるよ。いつも自分にそう言い聞かせてるの。

ティファ：私は・・・ショッピングに行く――上の街に！　バーの用具を買うよ！　デコレーションやコースター・・・

I’m gonna… Go shopping—topside! I’ll buy… Stuff for the bar! Decorations, coasters…

 

エアリス：一緒に行っていい？

Can I come?

 

ティファ：そうして！

You’d better!

 

エアリス：じゃあデートだね。

Then it’s a date!

 

ティファ：買った物は全部クラウドに持たせるの。

Cloud can carry all our stuff!

 

エアリス：私達の荷物持ちだね！

He’ll be our pack chocobo!

 

■pack horse（名）荷馬

＊ファイナルファンタジーの世界ではチョコボが馬の代わりになってるので、「pack horse」を「pack chocobo」に変えています。

 

クラウド：俺がどうかしたか？

What was that about me?

 

ティファ：何も！

Nothing!

 

ティファ：え？　そんな！

Huh!? No way!

 

エアリス：行こう、ティファ！

C’mon, Tifa!

 

エアリス：クラウド！　しっかりつかまって！

Cloud! Hold on tight!

 

ティファ：いち、にの、さんで行くよ？　いち、にの、さん！

On three, okay? One, two, three!

クラウド：悪かったな。
