クラウド：何やってんだ！

What the hell!?

 

ティファ：ナイスキャッチ！

Nice catch!

 

クラウド：どうかしてる！

You’re crazy!

 

ティファ：お互い様でしょ。だからつべこべ言わないの。私は戻る気ないから。

Just like you. So suck it up, ‘cause I’m not leaving.

 

■suck it up (phrase) accept sth unpleasant or difficult（フレーズ）〈話〉〔困難なこと・嫌なことに対して〕愚痴を言わない

 

レノ：ああクソッ！　弁明でもするかい、相棒さんよ？

Dammit! You wanna explain yourself, partner?

 

■explain oneself (phrase) 1. to make clear what one means. 2. to give reasons justifying one’s conduct.（フレーズ）言動の真意を説明する、自分の立場を弁明する

 

ルード：ああ、手が滑った。

Uh… Hand slipped.

 

ティファ：今の何？

ジェシー：さあ、私の最新の素晴らしいデザインに何点つける？　10点満点の11点ってところかな？

So, how’d you guys rate my latest and greatest design? Eleven outta ten?

 

■rate (v) to judge the value or character of sb/sth（動）〔性能などによって～を〕格付けする、等級に分ける

ジェシー：うわぁ・・・ティファってば・・・変な顔しちゃって・・・

ああ・・・クラウドが私の最後の言葉を聞ける男ってわけか・・・。ハッ・・・ラッキーだなぁ。

Oh, jeez… Tifa… If you could see the look on your face…

So…you’re the guy…who gets to hear my last words… Heh… Lucky me.

 

■jeez (exclamation) an expression of surprise or emotion（間）わー、えーっ（Jesusの婉曲的表現で、驚きや失望を表す発声）

■lucky me（フレーズ）ついてる！　ラッキー！

 

クラウド：最後の言葉のわけないだろ！

Like hell they’re your last.

 

■Like hell … (phrase) used in ironic expressions of scorn or disagreement（フレーズ）～だなんてとんでもない、絶対～しない

 

ジェシー：いいの、クラウド・・・いいの。あれ、私の爆弾。彼らはみんな・・・私が殺したの。自業自得だよ・・・。

It’s okay, Cloud… It’s okay. They were my bombs. They were all…my victims. I had it…coming.

ああ・・・ティファが泣いてる。何かマズいこと言っちゃったかな？

ねえ、ふたりともどこか行くとこないの・・・？　そんなジッと見つめるなんて・・・失礼だぞ・・・

That’s right. I do. But…I don’t think…

Oh no… Tifa’s crying. Did I say something wrong?

Don’t you guys…have somewhere to be? It’s not polite…to stare…you know…
