宝条：では、君たちの約束の地についてだが・・・なあ、エアリス。君は私の意図を誤解している。神羅の物欲を満たしておけば、私は素晴らしい研究に没頭させてもらえるんだ。我々の素晴らしい研究だ、エアリス。

So. About this precious promised land of yours… Come now, Aerith. You misunderstand my intenions. I wish only to satisfy their material greed so I can be left to pursue my great work. Our great work, my dear.

宝条：今やおまえは母親の生き写しだな。いまだに後悔しているよ。彼女が逃げようとする代わりに私を信用してくれさえすれば、かなり違った展開になったはずだったのに。古代種の最後の純血種を失うとは、なんたる悲劇・・・。だが完全に失ったわけじゃない。
