ツォン：”私達”は何もしない。

“We” are going to do nothing.

ルード：考えてたんだが、あの破壊は必要だったのか？

Been thinking. Was all that necessary?

 

ツォン：もし私達が拒否したら、ほかの誰かがタスクを遂行しただろう。私達はその誰かが良心の呵責に苦しむことを防いだんだ。そう考えれば君たちの慰めになるだろう。

Had we refused, someone else would’ve completed the task. We have spared that someone the burden of a guilty conscience. Perhaps that will ease yours.
