クラウド：協力者を探そう。

Let’s find our contact.

 

■contact (n) a contact is sb you know in an organization or profession who helps you or gives you information（名）組織などの中で助けたり情報をくれたりする知人

 

バレット：警備員はいなさそうだ。心配事が一つ減ったな。

Not seeing any security around. One less thing to worry about.

 

協力者：あんんたたち、ここで働いてるのかい？　見たことない顔だが。何か手助けしようか？

You work here? I don’t recognize you. Can I help you with something?

 

クラウド：市長。

The mayor.

 

協力者：・・・最高！　君たちが来るだろうって言われたんだ。上の階に行く必要があるんだろ？

…Is the best! I was told to expect you. Need access to upper floors, right?

 

バレット：その通りだ。

That’s right.

 

協力者：ほら。このカードキーで64階に行ける。そこの上に行くエレベーターも使える。上に着いたら、何をしようとしてるんだい？

Here. This keycard will grant you access to the 64th floor. You can use the elevator to get there. Once you’re up there, just what is it you plan on doing?

クラウド：友人を連れ戻しに来たんだ。どこか研究施設に捕まっている。

We came to get one of our friends. She’s being held in a research lab somewhere.

 

協力者：研究施設？　それじゃあ彼女は宝条博士と一緒にいるな。彼女に近づくのは簡単じゃないぞ。研究開発部へのアクセスは権限を与えられた職員のみに限られてるんだ。

A lab? Then she must be with Professor Hojo. It won’t be easy to get to her. Access to R&D is limited to authorized personnel only.

協力者：もうすぐ重役会議が始まる予定だ。大会議室で開催される。プレジデント、宝条博士、それから他の統括達が出席する。

A board meeting is scheduled to start soon. It’s being held in the main conference room. President Shinra, Professor Hojo, and the other directors will be in attendance.

 

バレット：ヤツら、サプライズは好きか？　プレジデントを人質にとっちまえば、こっちのもんだろ。

Think they like surprises? We can even take the president as a hostage. Think of the leverage!
